To support our Compliance Department near Paradeplatz in Zurich, we are looking for a Junior Compliance Officer with the following profile:

YOUR PROFILE

  • You are a committed personality, open-minded and ready to go the extra mile for finding the best possible solution in your daily tasks.
  • You have an efficient working style and you communicate fluently in German and English.
  • You have a Master’s degree in law or economic.
  • You have an affinity for banking and finance, and are interested in Compliance and Corporate Governance. You have a good knowledge of MS Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and general IT-Programs/Processes.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Support and very close collaboration with the Head of Compliance regarding different regulatory projects and the respective implementation.
  • Support the Trust Compliance Officer in the daily tasks (modification in structures, transaction monitoring on external bank accounts, etc.).
  • Support the Compliance Department in their daily business and their periodic Compliance Reviews.
  • Monitor and analyze flagged transactions for potential money laundering, terrorist financing or other sanctioned activities.
  • Review and analyze software-generated name checks regarding our client database.

To support our Legal & Corporate Secretary Department, we are looking for a Paralegal, responsible for the support of the Department in a variety of matters.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Certified Paralegal or equivalent training in Swiss law, higher technical college or Bachelor in Laws of a Swiss University
  • Sound in-house and/or law firm experience in a paralegal role, ideally within the Swiss financial services sector
  • Technologically savvy with good PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills
  • Excellent communication skills in German, English and French (optional)
  • Strong organizational skills and able to prioritize tasks and to meet tight deadlines
  • Flexible, hands-on
  • Proactive, dynamic and results-oriented personality who excels in a team environment

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Organization of Shareholders’ Meetings, Board of Directors Meetings, Risk and Audit Committee as well as Executive Committee Meetings of Quilvest’s Group Companies. Preparation, maintenance and storage of related documentation (agenda, minutes, resolutions, powers of attorneys, etc.).
  • Drafting, organization and management of all correspondence (e.g. submissions, requests) with the Commercial Register Office and maintenance of the archive.
  • Administration of all internal regulations, directives and other corporate governance documents of the Quilvest Group
  • Drafting and updating of reports, presentations, memos, training materials etc. for internal meetings
  • Organization and management of all standard forms and documents (e.g. client agreements, deeds and other forms)
  • Responsible for answering inquiries from authorities and in inheritance matters.
  • Contributing to the conceptualization, development and implementation of special projects to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of the Legal & Corporate Secretary Department in terms of records management, information sharing, evolution of policies and standard legal forms.
  • Support in the setup-up and organization of ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed
  • Organization and maintenance of document archives of contracts with external parties (in electronic and physical form as required)
