Gonzalo Tanoira

Gonzalo Tanoira sits on the Board of Directors of Bemberg Capital and Quilvest Capital Partners. Gonzalo lives in Buenos Aires and is a Director of several Argentine companies. He is currently the president of the Board of Directors of SA San Miguel, the largest citrus producer of the southern hemisphere, with operations in Argentina, Uruguay and South Africa. He is also a director of Grupo PeÃąaflor, the largest wine company in Argentina. Furthermore, Gonzalo works as International Advisor for Goldman Sachs for its Investment Banking practice in Argentina. Previously Gonzalo was the Finance Director of Patagonia Gold, a mining company listed in the AIM of the LSE and was appointed by the Argentine government as director in its national airliner, Aerolineas Argentinas. Prior to that, he was the general manager of MBHolding, an Argentinean private equity fund owned by the Miguens family. During the 1990s, Gonzalo worked in investment banking in New York for Bear Stearns in its corporate finance division for Latin America, issuing debt and equity for major corporations in Latin America. He also worked in consulting as an Associate for Booz Allen & Hamilton in its offices in Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, and Santiago de Chile. Gonzalo holds a Bachelorâs Degree in Business Administration from Belgrano University (Buenos Aires) and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of YPO (Young Presidents Organization) and part of the business council of Universidad Austral in Buenos Aires.
