The Senior Assistant in the Front Office department supports the Customer Relationship Manager in day- to-day business. The support is mainly provided in advising and looking after wealthy private and family clients and in establishing and expanding customer relationships. Furthermore, you perform special organizational tasks for the Head Front Office.

Your personal and technical skills

  • You as a Senior Assistant in the Front office department show a solid, resilient and proactive character and personality.
  • Your tasks require a networked mindset, diligence and reliability.
  • As a Senior Assistant in the Front Office department, you have extensive experience in assistant tasks as well as very good organizational skills.
  • You have a sound knowledge about banking.
  • You have fluent German and English knowledge as well as good knowledge in Spanish (in written and oral).
  • In this position, you show a careful way of working and good communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team.

Your duties and responsibilities

  • Execute client orders (payments, trades, forex) through QVS and third party banks when QVS acts as EAM.
  • Support on account opening / closing processes.
  • Client cash controlling.
  • Liaise on client support functions (E-banking setup, information queries, reconciliations, liaise with back / middle office for security openings, maintaining CRM software updated, credit requests).
  • Assisting and controlling of compliance issues together with CRM.
  • Handle process management of paperwork for legal entities.
  • Initiate, process and control execution of client transactions; monitoring follow up on client requests.
  • Keeping investment files of customer up to date.
  • Coordinating pending client matters.
  • Supporting other CRM’s within the team.
  • Signals Stock Exchange orders and/or FOREX orders to her team and controls the execution.
  • Handle account openings for personal and corporate accounts and remain involved until the account is opened and there are no more pending issues.
  • Corresponding with clients and solving day-to-day requirements.
  • Manage cash balances of clients (term deposits, current accounts) and signals any change of Forex or unapproved overdraft to her superior.
  • Up-date electronic client data (i.e. qCRM inputs, addresses, phones, LPoA, GPoA and other) with CAD.
  • Support banker on client presentations and preparing client documentation (when visiting).

We are looking for a Senior Internal Auditor with a practical, operational and clear understanding of the bank audit field. The position is with a small bank and offers high flexibility.

Your personal and technical skills

  • CPA or similar qualification with 8+ years pf experience in Audit
  • Senior personality with banking knowledge, especially in the area of investment products, asset liability management, liquidity management; its processes and regulations.
  • Analytical and conceptual way of thinking as well as an independent, structured and goal-oriented working style.
  • Good understanding of the audit methodology and standards required to deliver excellent audit outcomes and the skills and competencies needed to provide quality, impactful and insightful audit reports.
  • On a personal level, we expect flexibility, high motivation and long-term thinking. Individual should be hands on in his/her approach to work and able to function well on a micro team.
  • Efficient, team-oriented, and able to take initiative.
  • High level of professionalism in dealing with colleagues on different company levels and in intercultural cooperation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and German or French. Spanish is a plus.

Your duties and responsibilities

  • Responsibility as senior auditor with a risk-oriented, systematic approach and best practice focus, willing to approach all topics and challenges.
  • Independent execution of risk and process oriented Private banking audits, main focus on investments and portfolio management, including investment suitability, ESG, anti-money laundering, and cross-border; but also all other parts of private banking audits.
  • Documentation and formulation of improvement proposals to optimize the risk management and control functions on all levels of a bank.
  • Influence the business by agreeing actions and delivering the final audit report in coordination with the Head Internal Audit, if needed.
  • Follow-up on audit findings, including monitoring of the implementation of agreed measures.
  • Report to Head of Internal Audit and contribute to development and design of an annual risk analysis and multi-year audit plan.
